PORT HUENEME, Calif. (Aug. 21, 2012) Tony Horton, founder of the fitness program P90X, encourages Engineman 3rd Class Ruben Alvarado during a workout with the crew aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22). The Sailors were also able to hold a question and answer session with the fitness celebrity, learning about nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and the challenges of fitness aboard ships. Horton and his team of trainers were visiting Naval Base Ventura County to conduct the “Fit to Fight” California 2012. San Diego is in Port Hueneme to conduct combat systems ships qualification trials.
