Description ARABIAN SEA (March 25, 2011) A Sailor assigned to the visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) team aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) climbs down the side of the ship into a rigid-hull inflatable boat to begin an operation aboard the Philippine-flagged merchant vessel Falcon Trader II, which sent out a distress call reporting it had been boarded by pirates. Leyte Gulf is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility to conduct maritime security operations. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Robert Guerra/Released)
