Description

PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 30, 2012) Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) prepare to take on fuel as the ship approaches the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS John Ericsson (T-AO-194) for a replenishment at sea. McCampbell is part of the George Washington Carrier Strike Group, the U.S. Navy’s only forward deployed carrier strike group, based out of Yokosuka, Japan, and is currently conducting a routine patrol in the western Pacific Ocean.
