English: Portrait of a young gentleman, could be a depiction of Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond (1672-1723), son of Charles II of England and Louise de Keroual, Duchess of Portsmouth.
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of that Duke at a young age (see images below), and the presence of the sash of the British Order of the Garter.
