Description

The view SE across St James' Boulevard to the forlorn building at 37-39 Westmorland Road (south side), on the corner with Blandford Street (east side). Built as a Temperance Hotel, it was latterly the Westmorland Road Mens Hostel, before falling into this dilapidated state. Note the murals of the Tyne Bridge and the city's coat of arms below it.
