Fort Vancouver. Fort Vancouver is a component landscape within Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. It is part of a larger historic district that was listed on the National Register in 2007. As part of that nomination, Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) resources were identified for their association with the companies activities and occupation in the area. The landscape is also significant for archaeology resources. The current fort is a reconstruction, based on historic evidence such as drawings and archeological remains.
