Description
English:
One storey Baroque building. Built in around 1700? on other source: shortly after 1686. Courtyard wing built in the end of the 18th century. Facade remodelled into Romantic style in around 1860, and in 1922. Damaged under siege of Budapest 1944/1945, Reconstructed based on plans of Lajos Meczner in 1949. Listed. Tiled gable roof. Fortuna by Ferenc Medgyessy (1921 gypsum or artificial stone relief) on its facade. - This building was a participiant of the 'Budapest 100 2022' event - Part of the Budapest World Heritage protected architectural ensembles - 9 Fortuna Street, Várnegyed neighborhood, District I of Budapest.

Emeletes barokk lakóház, 1700 körül (muemlekem.hu). A középkori lakóház maradványain felépült kora barokk épület a kapuzat tanúsága szerint nem sokkal 1686 után készülhetett. A 18. század végén az udvar hátsó részébe egy másik épületszárnyat építettek. 1860 körül főhomlokzatát romantikus stílusban alakították át. A homlokzatot 1921-ben egyszerűbb formára állították vissza. Világháborúban megsérült. 1949-ben állították helyre Meczner Lajos tervei szerint [1] Zártsorú beépítésben elhelyezkedő, egy utcai és egy azzal párhuzamos udvari szárnyból álló, emeletes lakóház, cserép héjazatú nyeregtetővel. Műalkotás: Fortuna-dombormű (Felállítás 1921, Medgyessy Ferenc) Gipsz/műkő?, gömbön álló mezítelen nőalak két méter magas, kezében virágcsokrot és bőségszarut tart. - 'Budapest100 2022' rendezvény egyik zárt háza[2] - Műemléki azonosító: 92, törzsszám: 15023 - Budapest műemléki jelentőségű területe az ún. Világörökség része. Műemléki azonosító: 217, törzsszám: 15001 - Budapest, Várkerület, Várnegyed városrész, Polgárváros, Fortuna utca 9 szám helyrajzi szám: 6574
