Description
Français : Dessin lié à la pompe funèbre du chancelier Séguier, organisée au nom de l'Académie de peinture et de sculpture par Le Brun, qui fournit des dessins pour les tableaux représentant sa vie (8e tableau). Ce dessin de Chauveau indique peut-être un projet de gravure de ces 12 tableaux. Plume et encore brune, lavis gris, sur esquisse à la sanguine. 130 x 107 mm
