Français : "Louis de France ( 1661 - 1711 ) dit le Grand Dauphin ou Monseigneur , n'a jamais régné . Héritier de la Couronne , il meurt prématurément de la petite vérole , avant Louis XIV . Son père l'avait préparé à devenir roi et il a occupé des postes importants au niveau militaire et diplomatique , tout en ayant un goût très prononcé pour les arts et les plaisirs de la Cour . Son fils le duc de Bourgogne , second Dauphin meurt également de la petite vérole avec sa femme Marie-Adélaïde de Savoie et leur fils aîné , ne laissant pour héritier que le futur Louis XV , ägé de 2 ans ."
