"French School Late 17th/Early 18th Century Portrait of a lady in the costume of Louis Marguerite of Lorraine (1588-1631) Oil on canvas 63.9 x 52.2cm; 25¼ x 20½in The costume is based on a portrait of Louise Marguerite of Lorraine, Princess of Conti, several versions of which exist, including at the Musée Condé, Chantilly Condition Report In good restored condition. The canvas has been relined and there is craquelure throughout. Examination under UV light reveals a small patch of restoration to each sleeve, one to the chest, a few others in the background, especially towards the edges. Live Bid Login/Register to Bid"
