Description
English: Inside R211 car No. 4122 in Far Rockaway–Mott Avenue-bound A service, stopped on the Downtown express track at the 14th Street IND Eighth Avenue station, under 8th Avenue and 14th Street in Chelsea / West Village, Manhattan. Pictured are the new wide exit doors which, along with smaller windows, make the car interior feel much larger than the other 60-foot subway cars (like the R160 across the platform), and more like the 75-foot R46 cars. Note the green lights along the doorways.
