Description |
English: A copper alloy T-shaped brooch length 21mm, width 23mm, thickness 10mm, weight 6g. The brooch has cylindrical wings which hold the axes bar, there is a slot in the rear for the pin which is now missing. There is a small crest at the top of the bow, below is a line of diamond cells that vary in size which would have been filled with enamel. The lower part of the leg is truncated resulting in the loss of the catch plate. Date 70-150AD |
