Opschriften / Merken: onderschrift, midden onder in de marge, gegraveerd: ‘Femme de Qualité en Deshabillé, se promenant le matin á la Campagne cet habit est blanc, garni de bandes de toile peinte, et consiste en une juppe et un corsage avec queue troussée par derriere.’
Omschrijving: Vooraanstaande vrouw in een 'deshabillé', wandelend in de ochtend op het platteland. Het witte kostuum is versierd met banden van beschilderde stof, en bestaat uit een lijfje en rok met aan de achterkant een drapering (queue). Kleine schoudermantel met capuchon. Op het hoofd een hoed versierd met linten en bloemen. Verdere accessoires: collerette, lange handschoenen, armband, waaier, wandelstok, schoenen met hakken en rozetten. Kopie naar G 40 uit serie G. 7e Cahier de Costumes Français, 1e Suite d'Habillemens de Femmes à la mode, Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français.
