Centsprent met 3 x 7 niet omkaderde houtsneden, met afbeeldingen van soldaten: op de bovenste rij de Turkse wacht van de keizer, op de middelste rij Grieks voetvolk en op de onderste rij Chinese boogschutters. Grotendeels identieke figuren. Bevat per rij een kort onderschrift in Frans en Nederlands. Onder de prent een tekst van 13 regels in Nederlands en Frans, met informatie over eigenschappen, kleding en grootte van de legers van Turkije, Griekenland en China. De inneming van Canton in 1857 wordt vermeld.
