Hollstein Dutch 9 Omschrijving: Voorstelling van het gebruik van een nieuw type slangbrandspuit uitgevonden door de Engelsman John Lofting, tegen de achtergrond van gebouwen in Londen, ca. 1690-1700. Links bij het monument ter nagedachtenis aan de grote brand van 1666: Monument to the Great Fire of London, rechts een tweede voorstelling met een demonstratie voor de Royal Exchange (Beurs). Bovenaan twee banderollen met de titels in het Engels en Latijn. Hierin wordt vermeld dat de machines verkrijgbaar zijn bij de octrooihouder John Lofting te Londen. Onderaan twee kleine scènes van de toepassing van de slangbrandspuiten bij brand op schepen en bij een pakhuis. Hierbij de legenda's A-G in het Engels en Latijn. Bij de prent behoort een tekstblad.
