Description
English:
Memorial column remain of the Saint John of Nepomuk statue oth Old Saint John Hospital. A Nepomuk statue stand before the local hospital. Under WW2 the hospital and the statue destroyed. Fragments of the shattered statue's column were found during an excavation in 2022 and then exhibited in Hay Square as a memento; - Széna Square, Víziváros neighborhood, 2nd district of Budapest.

Szobortalapzat töredék. A Felső országút, a Retek és Hattyú utcák találkozásánál álló régi Szent János Kórház előtt, kovácsoltvas kerítéssel védve, kiülő lábazattal és volutás fejezettel tagozott magas oszlopon 1717-ben állított, barokk stílusú kőszobor maradványa/emléke. A második világháború során összetört szobor oszlopának töredékeit 2022-ben egy feltárás során megtalálták majd a Széna téren egykori helyén állítottak ki mementóul. Megj. a kórház egyik, a földből előkerült oszlopának maradványait is elhelyezték az egyik növénykazettában, közel ahhoz helyhez, ahol eredetileg álltak - Budapest, II. kerület, Víziváros városrész, Széna tér.
