English: Reports that the fair was a great success, bringing in $618,782.28 ($554,491 after expenses), Yeatman writes that this fair was more successful than any other Sanitary Fair in the history of the US, and the Commission writes that the success is a sure display of patriotism and loyalty to the Union of all who were involved. States that some of the profit is already aiding General Sherman and his armies.
