Description
English: The Hon.ble Thomas Wentworth Esq.rBrigadier General of His Majesty's Forces Colonel of One of His Regiments of Foot, & Commander in Chief of His Majesty's Forces in America. Mezzotint of a British soldier serving in America, engraved after Allan Ramsay by Alexander Van Haecken, younger brother of the drapery painter Joseph Van Haecken who worked for some time as Ramsay's studio assistant.
