English: A team of Georgian soldiers transport a supposed Georgian casualty from Alpha Company, 33rd Light Infantry Battalion, combat out post unto a casualty evacuation aircraft moments after insurgents conducted a surprise mortar attack during the unit's mission rehearsal exercise at Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Feb. 24. The Georgian soldiers are part of the the Georgia Deployment Program and the MRE is the culminating exercise to asses their operability prior to its upcoming deployment to Afghanistan in support of International Security Assistance Forces. The 33rd Light Infantry Battalion is the third Georgian battalion that Marine Corps Training and Advisory Group prepares in support of the GDP and ISAF missions in Afghanistan. |
