Description
English: A 1944 German propaganda stamp produced in 1944 by prisoners in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp for Unternehmen Wasserwelle (Operation Waterwave). The stamp was based on the 1935 British Silver Jubilee half penny stamp. It has never been properly explained why the word "Jewish" was misspelled. Top and bottom gutters included.
