Titel: Gezicht op het Zeekantoor, hoek Spaansekade - Haringvliet, vanuit het zuiden
Beschrijving: Olieverf op paneel, marouflé door kunstenaar zelf (dun doek op paneel). Bruin gebeitst beukenhouten lijst. Gezicht op de voormalige Admiraliteitshof, gebouwd in 1644, vanaf het Oudehoofdplein over de Spanjaardsbrug naar het noorden. Het Zeekantoor werd in 1885 afgebroken. Links, bij de boom, een openbaar urinoir, daar neergezet in 1880. Op de hoek van de gevel van het Zeekantoor een wachthuisje. Bueninck studeerde van 1885 tot 1888 aan de tekenacademie in Rotterdam; hij heeft het schilderij mogelijk later vervaardigd dan in zijn eerste studiejaar.
