Description
English: Live on the 8th of July, 2006. Ghymes band. Szikince, Felvidék. After several years, now it was possible for Párkány és Vidéke Kulturális Társaság (Párkány and Vicinity Cultural Association) to organise Ghymes Festival. Megrendezésre kerülhetett a SZIKINCE - GHYMES FESZTIVÁL. A rendezők felhívásukban ezt írják : „Vannak a Földnek olyan pontjai, ahol az ember a világ közepén érzi magát.” A táj, a civilizáció felerősíti az üzenetet : itt itthon vagyunk. A Szikince-Ghymes Fesztivál megrendezésével a rendezők egy ilyen itthon megteremtését tűzték ki célul: a felvidéki magyarság közösségteremtő, értékőrző összejövetelét szeretnék évről-évre megszervezni a Szikince- patak völgyében. A helyszínt – írják – nem véletlenül választották. Olyan tájat kerestek, ahol ezt a világközepe-érzést minden látogatójuk átélheti.
