Description
English: Unter bislang nicht vollständig geklärten Bedingungen können sich in Gips durch Auslaugung flache Fugen im Dezimeterbereich bilden, deren Decken in markanter Weise sogenannte Laugnäpfe und -rillen zeigen. Früher wurden diese Rillen als Spuren von Schichtfugengerinnen gedeutet; die Fundumstände dieses Exponats (geborgen um 1950 aus einer Fuge in der Abbauwand des früheren Steinbruchs Kutslegde bei Branderode) schließen einen solchen Bildungsprozess jedoch aus.
