Omschrijving: Heuvellandschap met een rivier. God openbaart zich aan Jakob in Betel. Hij geeft Jakob de naam Israël en belooft hem het land van Abraham en Isaak. Jakob richt daarna een altaar op en wijdt het in door er olie over te gieten (Gen. 35:14). Een tetragram vervangt hier de afbeelding van God de Vader. Met een motto in het Latijn boven de voorstelling en een vierregelig onderschrift in het Latijn onder de prent. De prent maakt deel uit van een album.
