Deutsch: Der Palas der ehemaligen Kaiserpfalz Goslar am Fusse des Rammelsberg in Goslar (Harz). Die Anlage wurde bereits 1005(?) unter Heinrich II begonnen und Ende 1050 unter Heinrich III vollendet. Das Entstehungsdatum der links neben dem Palas stehenden Ulrichskapelle ist unbekannt. Der Palas ist 54m lang und 18m tief und damit der größte und besterhaltenste Profanbau Deutschlands aus dem 11 Jhd.
English: The palace of the former Imperial Palace of Goslar at the foot of Rammelsberg in Goslar (Harz). The plant was already 1005 (?) begun under Henry II and completed by the end of 1050, under Henry III. The date of the standing left of the palace chapel is unknown. The Palas is 54m long and 18m deep and the largest and best preserved not secular buildings Germany from the 11th century. |
