Description
English: Two gotha sets meet on Linie 4 in Zwickau. (Is double track trunning here about to become eingleisig?) The judiciously place fleet numbers mean that we can identify motor car 906 approaching the camera and 919 followed by trailers 991 and 960 pointing in the opposite direction. 919 was scrapped in 1994, formerly no 137, a 1967 CKD T2D. the trailers are listed here 960 was one of six acquired from Plauen in 1989. It was scrapped later in 1993. Trailer 991 was formerly 244 and was acquired by Arad in Romania in 1996, where it ran until 2003. motor car 906 was renumbered 956 later in 1993 and in 1995 became no 4 in the fleet of Bad Schandau. The T2D and B2D units were built in Prague by CKD after tram production was centralised in Czechoslovakia for the RGW countries.
