English: Gown, baby's, fine white cotton cambric, full length decorated with tucks and insertions down front panel of bodice and skirt. Broderie Anglaise down skirt and on sleeves. Fine machine-made Valencienne lace around neck. "Baby gown with skirt and cap sleeves. Skirt has a front panel of lace insertion with alternating set of four pintucks, and a a frill of broderie anglaise, and five tucks all the way around the lower edge. Bodice has a V shaped panel with very fine pin tucks and a broderie anglaise frill on the edge. Also some feather stitch. Fine machine made valencian lace on cap sleeves and around neck edge." |
