| Description |
On Exhibit at the Park Headquarters Lobby March 2-22, 2013 This year there were 155 individual pieces of art submitted for the juror's consideration, from which 38 pieces were selected. In addition to the juried exhibit, four seniors from the 2013 Grand Canyon School graduating class will each have curated pieces exhibited. We were honored to have South Rim January Artist-in-Residence Loren Schwerd, a mixed-media sculptor from New Orleans, and Grand Canyon School alumni (class of 2005) and former Best of Show winner Colette Aspas jury this exhibit. Grand Canyon School's culinary art teacher Matt Yost and his students are creating and serving refreshments for this event. Best of Show and other awards will be announced at the opening. |
