Description

Hoewel deze fotopagina eigenlijk niet echt voor treinenfoto's bedoeld is, wil ik je deze niet onthouden...een close-up.

In Groenlo, de plaats waar ik opgroeide, is sinds begin dit jaar een leuk spoors tafereeltje te zien. In de tuin van de bewoners van het voormalige GOLS station.

Locomotor (Sik) 211 werd in januari 2017 uit Amersfoort overgebracht naar Groenlo. De plaatsing is onderdeel van de verbetering van de verbinding tussen Marveld Recreatie en het centrum van Groenlo die is uitgevoerd. Hoofddoel van dit project is het realiseren van een duurzame- en in de visie “Stad Groenlo” passende, openbare ruimte waarbij de bewoners van dit gebied nauw betrokken worden. De route loopt van Marveld onder het tunneltje bij de N18 door het industriegebied langs het historische treinspoor naar de binnenstad.

De opgave was om een route te maken die herkenbaar is voor toeristen van Marveld. Daarin zijn ze zeker geslaagd.
