Group of 18 musket balls of large calibre
Description
English: A cache of 18 cast lead-alloy musket shots of a larger calibre dating from the 17th-18th century. Except one which is slightly smaller and lighter (c.12.64g), they are all are relatively large (c. 17mm in diameter) and weigh between 32.74g and 33.71g.

The musket balls come from a bag marked "17th-18th century musket balls from the foreshore of Sunderland Point" and had been kept at a nearby primary school as handling objects for their history classes.
