| Description |
L'église de Nossa Senhora da Oliveira de style gothique date du XIVème siècle, le clocher manuélin (1513 -1515). Au premier plan l'édicule lui aussi gothique aux quatre arcs en ogive. Selon la tradition, le nom de l'église proviendrait de l'olivier que les gens plantaient devant l'église. À côté de son tronc sec, l'étendard commémoratif de la bataille de Salado a été érigé et, à la surprise générale, au bout de trois jours, l'olivier est devenu vert, ce qui a amené les gens à le considérer comme miraculeux. |
