Description Gurdwara Sis Ganj, Old Delhi, India: This is the view of a window which shows the exact location where Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru was martyred on the orders of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb on Wednesday, November 24, 1675 for refusing to convert to Islam. The decorated red sheet (called a rumala) covers a copy of the Guru Granth sahib which is placed on the exact location where the revered Guru was beheaded.
