Summary[edit]
DescriptionHäderli Bridge in Schöllenen Gorge from train in 1979.jpg | The Häderli Bridge in the Schöllenen Gorge, in central Switzerland, viewed from a passing train in 1979. Built in 1649, the original bridge (shown here) was destroyed by flooding in 1987 and has subsequently been replaced by a reconstruction. The section of railway line at the precise location from which the photo was taken has since been placed underground, in a tunnel. |
