Description
English:  : Hősök tere square/park two nice trees and information bord with map and text about the settlement. Since 13th century has records about the settlement However around 1700 it was extinct. Around 1740s German settlements arrived. Population in 1830: c. 800; 1941: c. 13000. The Germans were deported in 1946. In the 1970s her was built 11500 flats for circa 50 thousand people. When sozialism collapsed all bigger employer defunct (brick-, textile- weaving- painter-factories, shipyard) the population fell to less than 40 thousand. - Ezüsthegy Street corner, Békásmegyer.
