Summary[edit]

Description
English: Hagaparken is an English-inspired park in Haga in the municipality of Solna in Stockholm, which was built on the initiative of Gustav III, which is why it is also called Gustavianska Parken. It lies on Brunnsviken's western shore and extends from Stallmästaregården in the south (near the northern edge of Stockholm's inner city) to Frösundavik in the north. Today the park has a number of different pavilions and temples such as the Turkish kiosk, Copper Tents, Chinese pavilion and the Eco Temple. There is also Haga Castle and the foundation of a never-completed pleasure castle called Stora Haga castle ruin. The total area of the park encompasses 144 hectares, which are included in its entirety in the Royal National City Park.
