Français : Cette vue d'artiste montre une géante gazeuse jumelle de Jupiter nouvellement découverte autour d'un jumeau solaire, HIP 11915. La planète est dotée d'une masse semblable à celle de Jupiter et orbite autour de son étoile hôte à une distance voisine de celle qui sépare Jupiter du Soleil. En outre, la composition de HIP 11915 est semblable à celle du Soleil. L'ensemble de ces éléments laisse entrevoir la possibilité que le système planétaire de HIP 11915 présente quelques similitudes avec notre Système Solaire, dont de petites planètes rocheuses peuplent les régions intérieures. |
