Summary[edit]

Description
Deutsch: Hagen-Wehringhausen, Augustastraße 77. Stolperstein vor dem Haus für den Sinto Julius Weiß (1918–2005). Weiß wurde 1939 die Eheschließung mit seiner schwangeren Braut in Hagen von den Nazis untersagt. Begründung: Als „Abkömmling von Zigeunern“ durfte er keine deutsche Frau heiraten. Ab 1940 war er vier Jahre in drei Vernichtungslager. Wie durch ein Wunder überlebte Weiß die Konzentrationslager und wurde 1945 von alliierten Soldaten gerettet. Neun andere Mitglieder seiner Familie hatten dieses Glück nicht. Julius Weiß starb 2005 in Hamm.
