Description
Deutsch: Hagen-Haspe, Voerder Straße 58a. Stolperstein für Erich Gumprich (*11.07.1910). – Die Familie Gumprich lebte vom Viehhandel und besaß ein Zweifamilienhaus mit Stallungen und großer Weide. Heinz und Helmut Gumprich wanderten 1934 nach Palästina aus, Kurt folgte 1936, Werner 1938 und David 1939. Im Frühjahr 1939 versuchten die übrigen Familienmitglieder auf einer Mittelmeer-Rundreise (ab Bremen) mit dem Schiff „Belgrad“ wochenlang in jedem Hafen Asyl zu bekommen – vergeblich. Später abgeschoben und wieder zurück in Deutschland wurden sie von den Nazis 1942 im Ghetto Zamość ermordet. Das Haus der Familie wurde bis 1952 von der Stadt verwaltet, dann verkauften es die Nachkommen.
