Description
Deutsch: Hagen-Altenhagen, Alleestraße 33. Stolpersteine für Levi Loewenstein (15.10.1879 –1942) und Henriette Loewenstein geb. Oppenheimer (25.09.1873–1942). – Familie Loewenstein betrieb eine Altmetallhandlung. Tochter Grete war Schönheitspflegerin. Grete und ihr Bruder Hans Loewenstein entkamen 1938 bzw. 1939 in die USA. – Während des Novemberpogroms 1938 mußten die erwachsenen Söhne der Familie Loewenstein die Zerstörung ihres Eigentums unter Aufsicht und Schlägen der SA-Männer selbst besorgen. Möbel und Gegenstände in der Wohnung und dem Büro aus dem Fenster werfen, und zuletzt alles Zerstörte zusammengekehrt in den Hinterhof bringen. Die Firma Loewenstein & Co. wurde Zwangsversteigert.
