Harness pendant: Charnels arms
Description
English: A copper alloy shield-shaped horse harness pendant of slightly convex form, suspension loop intact. None of the enamelling or gilding remains, although the design of an indented cross is still clear. The finder stated that when the pendant came out of the ground there were traces of gilding to the cross and remnants of blue enamel background to be seen. Measurements: 31 mm x 52 mm (including suspension loop).
