Description

Colmar - la maison des Têtes. Témoin de l'architecture de la Renaissance tardive, la maison des têtes fut érigée en 1609 pour le compte d'un négociant (Anton Burger), futur stettmestre de la ville. La Maison des Têtes doit son nom aux cent six petites figures grimaçantes sculptées en façade.

Au sommet du pignon fut placée en 1902 la statue du "tonnelier Alsacien" oeuvre de Bartholdi.
