Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Hurricane Henriette is a small category 1 hurricane, its center embedded within an area of deep convection with well established outflow. By about 24 hours Henriette will move over cooler waters and interact with more stable air, leading to gradual weakening. The storm is forecast to turn more to the southwest in three days or so, leading it away from the islands of Hawaii. This image was taken by GOES West at 1830Z on August 7, 2013.
