Description
Deutsch: Hochzeitsbild von Hermann Carl Ludwig Gräber aus dem Jahr 1908. Der am 06.09.1880 unter ärmlichsten Umständen in Mecklenburg-Schwerin geborene Hermann Gräber begann eine militärische Laufbahn, meldete sich nach Deutsch-Südwest, war dort während des Hottentottenkriegs als Unteroffizier in der Etappe tätig; erhielt zwei Auszeichnungen und wurde zurück in Deutschland in den Gendarmeriedienst übernommen. Er heiratete die Tochter eines Kaufmanns und Bürgermeisters und beendete als Gendarmeriemeister im Rheinland seine berufliche Karriere. Nach dem frühen Tod seiner Frau heiratete er erneut.
