Deutsch: Das Herodium (lateinisch), Herodeion (altgriechisch Ἡρώδειον), Herodion (hebräisch הרודיון) und Dschabal al-Furaidis arabisch جبل الفريديس (wörtlich: Paradieshügel) ist eine von Herodes dem Großen (74–4 v. Chr.) in der Zeit 24–12 v. Chr. errichtete Festungs- und Palastanlage, zwölf Kilometer südlich von Jerusalem im heutigen Westjordanland.
English: Herodium (Latin), Herodeion (Ancient Greek: Ἡρώδειον), best known in Israel as Herodion (Hebrew: הרודיון‬) and in Arabic as Jabal al-Fureidis (Arabic: هيروديون‎, lit. "Mountain of the Little Paradise"); also Har Hordos is a truncated-cone-shaped hill, 12 kilometres south of Jerusalem and 5 kilometres southeast of Bethlehem, in the Judaean Desert, West Bank.
