Deutsch: Tübingen. Das Kienlin-Epitaph aus der Jakobuskirche zur Erinnerung an Stephan Kienlin und seine Ehefrau Elisabeth geb. Hirsch († 1585) wurde um 1870 bei Renovierungsarbeiten aus der Kirche entfernt und ist seitdem verschollen. Dies ist Abbildung einer Kopie auf Büttenpapier. (Maße: Original: ca. 2 × 1,25 m, Kopie:36 × 22 cm.) Zwischen zwei Schmuckleisten befand sich eine quadratische Bildtafel, die das Martyrium des Heiligen Stephanus darstellte. Dieser wurde wegen Gotteslästerung verleumdet und gesteinigt. |
