Deutsch: Notgeld HOCHBAHN HAMBURG, 40 PFENNIG, von 1921. Notgeldmünze von der Staatlichen Porzellan-Manufaktur Meißen aus braunem Böttger-Steingut hergestellt. Die gekreuzten Kurschwerter, das Markenzeichen der staatlichen Firma, als Münzzeichen, darüber die Darstellung eines Puttos auf Flügeln. Katalog: Menzel 10551.4, Durchmesser 27 mm.
English: Notgeld HOCHBAHN HAMBURG, 40 PFENNIG, of 1921. Notgeld (German for "emergency money" or "necessity money"), coin produced of so-called Böttger-Stoneware by Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen, Germany, depicting the crossed swords logo for Meissen as the mintmark, above a putto sitting on wings. Catalogue: Menzel 10551.4, Diam. 27 mm.
