Grade I listed Dating back to the 11th Century onwards, the church has a west tower, north aisle, south porch and usual nave and chancel. The 3 storey tower is 13th Century, topped with 15th C. embattled and pinnacled roof. There is a good set of gargoyles and grotesque heads. The nave has 15th C. clerestory windows, north door and 14th and 15th C. windows. The north arcade is 2 bays of 12th C. with a 15th C. grotesque head to the west. The roof is mostly 15th C. The present vestry was in fact the mortuary chapel for the Hussey family, of which there are several monuments. The chapel is paved in black and white marble. In the chancel, some remains of the old Saxon church are still visible, and fragments of the 12th C. north chancel arcade of 2 bays. There is a 12th C. sedilia in south wall, and also an Easter Sepulchre on the north wall, inserted in 15th C. The font is under the tower, and is 15th C, octagonal. The church suffers from a bat infestation, and the pews are covered with sheets.
