Description
Deutsch: Auf der Nordostseite der Schleuse Rothensee; die Osthaltung des Mittellandkanals Sülfeld–Hohenwarthe hat praktisch keine natürlichen Zuflüsse. Zur Reduzierung des Punpaufwandes erhielt die Schleuse auf der Nordostseite drei -Sparbecken, die den Wasserbedarf der Schleusungsvorgänge deutlich reduziert. Dahinter liegt das in den Dreißigern gebaute Schiffshebewerk Rothensee mit einem für heutige Verhältnisse zu kleinem Trog.
