Description
Deutsch: Von den Gleisen der Strecke LH/6362 Richtung Norden, rechts lagen die Anlagen des Bahnhofs Nobitz an der Strecke AI/6816, die im Hintergrund am Stellwerk 1 in die Strecke LH Richtung Altenburg eingebunden war. In das Stellwerk waren nur die Anschlussweichen eingebunden, der übrige Bahnhof Nobitz hatte nur ortsbediente Weichen. Die Weichen sind ausgebaut, das Stellwerk ist außer Betrieb.

Die Strecke LH ist zum Aufnahmezeit kurz vor der Inbetriebnahme vollgesperrt, das Kettenwerk über dem Gleis Hof–Leipzig fehlt noch.
Die Strecke AI ist seit 1998 endgültig außer Betrieb und im letzten Jahr vor dem Aufnahmezeitpunkt abgebaut worden.

Seit 1990 führt die eigentlich sächsische Strecke Leipzig–Hof um Altenburg über thüringisches Gebiet, doch ist das letztlich nur eine Spätfolge der Leipziger Teilung von 1485. Diesen Kardinalfehler in der sächsischen Geschichte zu korrigieren gelang den Politikern auch bei der Wiedereinrichtung der Länder trotz der gemeinsamen Herkunft nicht.
