Summary[edit]
DescriptionIfereimi Waqainabete 2019.jpg |
English: The Australian Government partnered with Cure Kids Fiji to ensure the hospital has a reliable, life-saving oxygen supply. The oxygen concentrators will help manage many sicknesses in children including severe pneumonia and other respiratory illnesses, which are still amongst the leading causes of ill-health and death amongst infants in Fiji.
Australia’s Deputy High Commissioner to Fiji, Anna Dorney, joined Cure Kids Fiji at the hospital today to officially hand over the concentrators to the Minister for Health and Medical Services, Hon. Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete. Australia commends this valuable partnership with the Ministry of Health & Medical Services - Fiji. |
